Who we are
YourSpace ("we", "us") provides private rooms for hire at Hadrian House, Beaminster Way East, Kingston Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 2ER. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message. We use these to reply to your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, or steps taken at your request before a booking.
- Bookings: bookings are made through our provider SuperSaaS, which collects the details you enter (such as your name, email and payment information) to manage and confirm your booking. Our legal basis is performance of a contract.
- Analytics: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, device and approximate location. Our legal basis is your consent.
Cookies
We only set analytics cookies if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set. Our booking provider may set cookies it needs to make the booking system work.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site: our web host and form handler (Netlify), our booking provider (SuperSaaS) and, if you consent, Google (Analytics). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, it is under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and for up to 12 months afterwards. Booking records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics retention settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, and request a copy of it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when it was last changed.
